When you decide to make your happiness a priority, it has a ripple effect that positively impacts everyone around you. But I get it, it's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that happiness isn't meant for you and that struggling is just the way things are.

I've always had a passion for people and writing. English was my favourite subject, and even my previous boss said I had a knack for it.

But you know what? I kept putting off following my passion, thinking there would be a perfect time for it. Instead, I played it safe, climbing the corporate ladder and raising my kids. But deep down, I felt overwhelmed and disconnected from my true self.

 

Choosing Yourself Amidst Challenges

Then the pandemic hit, life paused, and I found myself unknowingly navigating early menopause. It was a wake-up call to choose myself.

The thing is, when you prioritise your happiness, you become a role model for others. You show them what it means to be fulfilled as a woman.
